Cumulus DFW Radio Stations Raise Over $3.5 Million for DFW Charities in 2025
DALLAS, TX, January 19, 2026 — Cumulus Media (OTCQB: CMLS) announces that its Dallas-Fort Worth, TX radio station group raised a total of $3,559,468 for DFW Metroplex charities during 2025. In addition, Cumulus Dallas-Fort Worth supported signature community events with other groups to help raise additional millions in charitable donations.

Key community events in 2021 for Cumulus Dallas included:
- KSCS and KPLX’s Country for the Kids Radiothon and Texas Independence Jam events collectively raised $1,466,757 for Cook Children’s Medical Center in Fort Worth, a Children’s Miracle Network Hospital.
- KPLX’s Day of Giving campaign with Jersey Mike’s raised $736,500 for Wipe Out Kids Cancer, the oldest pediatric concert charity in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. Wipe Out Kids Cancer is committed to addressing the urgent need for pediatric cancer research, as well as the emotional and practical needs of children and their families.
- KSCS Pet for a Vet raised $33,636 for Benefits Patriot PAWS Service Dogs, which trains dogs for Veterans who suffer from mobility issues.
- KSCS’s Hawkeye and Michelle’s Diaper Drive generated donations of more than 40,000 diapers to Cook Children’s Medical Center in Fort Worth.
- KSCS made over 50,000 meals for Tango Charities, a hunger-based food organization in Dallas, focused on feeding, educating, and empowering communities through healthy and nutritious food.
- KSCS’s Hawkeye and Michelle’s Great Tree Giveaway event gave away 300 native and drought-resistant trees to listeners in honor of Texas Arbor Day.
- KSCS’s 10,000 for the Troops holiday card drive collected 202,019 holiday cards for U.S. troops serving overseas.
- KTCK The Ticket’s Jub Jam 14, an annual auction, concert and radiothon hosted by George “Jub Jub” Dunham, raised $240,000 for the Senior Source, which serves DFW senior citizens.
- KTCK The Ticket’s Swing for Hope Golf Tournament raised $100,000 for Hope Supply Co., which helps families in need in the Dallas area.
- Led by Donovan Lewis, KTCK The Ticket’s Donnie’s Domino Tourney raised $176,196 for At Last! Urban Boarding, which helps underserved youth elevate their performance in school.
- KTCK The Ticket’s Drop Your Pants annual event helmed by Bob Sturm raised $62,213 and donations of clothes for the Cornerstone Clothes Closet, which helps clothe and provide showers to the homeless.
- KTCK The Ticket’s D&M Open raised $37,212 for Special Olympics Texas.
- Norm Hitzges’ and KTCK The Ticket’s Normathon monthlong event featuring a car raffle, auctions and all-day broadcast raised $545,192 for the Austin Street Center for the Homeless.
- KTCK The Ticket’s Flinging D Disc Golf Tournament raised $17,215 for Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD).
- WBAP and KLIF’s Christmas is Caring Radiothon drove $130,421 in donations benefiting the Denton State Supported Living Center serving people with special needs.
- KLIF Kids Radiothon drove donations of $14,207, plus 315 toys for Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Arts Academy in Dallas and Charles E. Nash Elementary School in Fort Worth to make sure every child at these underserved schools had a present for Christmas.
- In addition, Cumulus DFW’s six stations joined forces for the annual Cumulus Cares Food Drive, generating donations of 13,000 pounds of food and $1,300 cash to area food banks.
