Cumulus Media’s 98.1 The Max Raises Over $1 Million for Ronald McDonald House of Memphis During Record-Breaking Annual Radiothon
MEMPHIS, TN — November 19, 2025 — Cumulus Media (OTCQB: CMLS) announces that Memphis Rock station 98.1 The Max (WXMX-FM) raised over $1 million for the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Memphis in its annual 98.1 The Max Ronald McDonald House Radiothon on Friday, November 7th. This is a record-breaking milestone in the station’s long-standing partnership with Ronald McDonald House Charities of Memphis and is the second consecutive year that 98.1 The Max has topped over $1 million in the popular one-day community fundraiser.
The 98.1 The Max Ronald McDonald House Radiothon leveraged the power of the station’s on-air and digital platform to raise awareness and funds for the beloved nonprofit. The Radiothon was presented live from 9:00am-5:00pm on 98.1 The Max, with special family features throughout the day.
All funds raised will go directly toward housing, meals, and support services for families staying at Ronald McDonald House of Memphis, ensuring they can focus on what matters most — their child’s healing.
