STOCKTON, CA – February 28, 2024 – Cumulus Media (NASDAQ: CMLS) announces that Stockton, CA, radio stations KAT Country 103/KATM-FM and 104.1 The Hawk (KHKK-FM) drove total donations of $210,730 in two concurrent on-air and online community fundraisers for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. The successful two-day events, “Kat Country Cares for St. Jude Kids Radiothon” and “The Hawk’s St. Jude Rocks Radiothon,” were held on Wednesday, February 21st and Thursday, February 22nd to support the lifesaving mission of St. Jude that no child should die in the dawn of life.

All funds raised during the event go directly to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital and will support St. Jude patients and families who never receive a bill from St. Jude for the cost of treatment, travel, housing, or food. At St. Jude, no child is denied treatment based on race, religion, or a family’s ability to pay. Since St. Jude opened its doors in 1962, the survival rate for childhood cancer has risen from 20% to more than 80% today.

Richard Perry, Operations Manager, Cumulus Stockton, said: “We’re thrilled, amazed, and in awe of the continued support shown by the listeners and sponsors of Kat Country and the Hawk.
