Radio Personality Bob Rivers to be Inducted Into 2023 Radio Hall of Fame

WORCESTER, MA – October 18, 2023 — Cumulus Media (NASDAQ: CMLS) announces that Worcester, MA, radio personality Bob Rivers has been selected for induction into the Radio Hall of Fame.

Rivers is one of eight 2023 inductees announced by The Museum of Broadcast Communications, Radio Hall of Fame sponsor, and selected by a panel of more than 950 radio industry professionals. inductees will be honored at the 2023 Radio Hall of Fame Induction ceremony on Thursday, November 2nd at the InterContinental Barclay Hotel in New York City.

Bob Rivers began his career at legendary Boston Rock station WAAF-FM in the early ‘80s. He shot to national fame first at WAAF, and then WIYY in Baltimore. His popular Twisted Christmas comedy albums were Platinum best-sellers and continue to be in heavy rotation world-wide during the Holiday season. After a 25-year run as a top Seattle morning drive personality, he returned to Worcester and “The Bob + Zip Show” on 100.1 The Pike/WWFX-FM in 2015. You can hear the “Bob + Zip Show” (with original Worcester partner Peter Zipfel) on 100.1 The Pike, Worcester’s Rock Station, every Saturday afternoon from 12:00pm to 4:00pm.
