DALLAS-FORT WORTH, TX – March 3, 2023 – Cumulus Media (NASDAQ: CMLS) radio stations New Country 96.3 (KSCS-FM) and 99.5 The Wolf (KPLX-FM) in Dallas-Fort Worth, announce that they raised $201,675 for Cook Children’s in Fort Worth at the Second Annual Texas Independence Jam guitar pull benefit concert on Sunday, February 26, 2023, held at the historic Billy Bob’s Texas in Fort Worth. This year’s event delivered a star-studded lineup to DFW Country music fans, with Host Clay Walker, and his fellow Country superstars Chris Young, Hardy, Midland, Lainey Wilson, Brett Young, Tyler Hubbard, Ashley McBryde, Eli Young Band, Mitchell Tenpenny and special guest, Randy Travis.

Hundreds of tickets to New Country 96.3 and 99.5 The Wolf’s Texas Independence Jam went on sale on Friday, January 6^th, and sold out within the hour, with all proceeds from the ticket sales going directly to Cook Children’s. After the on-sale, the only way to secure tickets was to win them on either station, with giveaways 12 times a day, on-air, online, and on-site at sponsored ticket hits.

During the main contesting period, a Grand Prize was provided by Galleria Chevrolet, with New Country 96.3 and 99.5 The Wolf winners qualifying for a new Chevrolet Camaro. The winner was announced live onstage at Texas Independence Jam. Eli Young Band helped conduct the reverse drawing for the truck, and lucky #3 Noah of Joshua walked away with a brand-new car.

Concert highlights included Lainey Wilson and Hardy’s crowd-pleasing performance of their hit single, “Wait in the Truck,” which received multiple standing ovations. During the third and final set, Midland, Mitchell Tenpenny, Chris Young and Clay Walker honored legendary Country artist Randy Travis by bringing him on stage and covering his hit single “Forever and Ever, Amen,” to finish off the show in an unforgettable way.
