LAKE CHARLES, LA, November 8, 2022 – Cumulus Media (NASDAQ: CMLS) announces that it will hold its annual ‘Campout for a Cause’ food drive benefiting Abraham’s Tent on November 10-12, 2022. KYKZ 96’s “AZ” and Steve Rixx and Hot 1033 DJ “Tyski” will camp out in the parking lot of the newly renovated Market Basket stores in Lake Charles, collecting food donations for local people and families in need.
The popular Cumulus Lake Charles radio personalities will camp out from 6:00am-6:00pm at different Lake Charles Market Basket locations each day, beginning Thursday, November 10th at Market Basket at 4950 Lake Street, and continuing Friday, November 11th at Market Basket at 2380 Ryan Street, and Saturday, November 12th at Market Basket at 4431 Nelson Road. Each day, they will collect community donations of canned food, dry goods, and other non-perishable food items, as well as frozen meats, including hams, turkeys, wild game, and fish. All food donations will be taken to Abraham’s Tent to provide thousands of meals year-round for Lake Charles neighbors in need.
