Cumulus Media Taps Don Pollnow as Vice President/Market Manager for Cumulus Montgomery, AL

MONTGOMERY, AL, February 2, 2021 — Cumulus Media announces that it has appointed Don Pollnow as Vice President/Market Manager for Cumulus Montgomery, AL. In his new role, Pollnow will oversee the company’s six Montgomery radio stations, including: Mix 103.3/WMXS-FM (AC); News Radio 1440/WLWI-AM (News/Talk); Sports Radio 740/WMSP-AM (Sports/Talk); WLWI 92/WLWI-FM (Country); 95.1 The Fox/WXFX-FM (Classic Rock); and Y102/WHHY-FM (CHR).

Pollnow was previously Market President for iHeartMedia Wichita, KS, and prior to that, was Vice President/Market Manager for Cumulus Green Bay, WI. In addition, he has successfully led radio station clusters as General Manager/Market Manager for NRG Media in Wausau/Stevens Point, WI, as General Manager/Market Manager for Clear Channel/iHeartMedia, and as General Manager/Market Manager for Renda Broadcasting in Oklahoma City, OK. Pollnow was also National Sales Manager for LM Communications/Lexington, KY, and Sales Manager, Sports Radio 1300 WLXG/Hank 96.1, Lexington, KY. He holds a B.A. degree in Business Administration from Columbia College in Columbia, MO.
