Popular Country Morning Show to Broadcast Live From Dierks Bentley’s Whiskey Row in Nashville on Friday, November 8th

NASHVILLE, TN, November 7, 2019 – Cumulus Media’s Westwood One’s internationally syndicated radio program,The Ty Bentli Show, Country’s most energetic and freshest take on morning radio, announces that it has officially begun its annual quest for “100,000 Thank Yous” for deployed members of the U.S. armed services, with the help of listeners and Country music’s Dierks Bentley. Each year, the show encourages its listeners to write a thank-you note that will be sent to deployed members of the U.S. armed services – as a reminder of how highly we regard the brave people who put on a uniform and work to secure and sustain our freedom. This year’s campaign for “100,000 Thank Yous” campaign kicked off on Monday, November 4th.

In years past, “100,000 Thank Yous” has seen support from country music superstars like Tim McGraw, Faith Hill, Blake Shelton, Keith Urban and Garth Brooks.  Last year, John Rich of Big and Rich hosted a kickoff party at his bar, and joined the show throughout November to see the influx of cards from across the country!

This year, The Ty Bentli Show went next level to launch the nationwide effort, by loading up the whole crew in Nashville and traveling to Naval Air Station Pensacola – the home of the Blue Angels! Ty, Tricia “TJ” Jenkins, Chuck and Bryan the Webb Guy broadcasted live on Monday, November 4th, from the award-winning galley at NAS. The morning’s distinguished guests included NATTCE Commanding Officer Tommy Decker, and Naval Air Station Commander, Captain Tim Kinsella. The team also took the opportunity to invite a new class of active duty men and women on the air throughout the show, to discuss what it means to them to see thousands of strangers thanking them for the path they’ve chosen to follow in their lives.

“100,000 Thank Yous” continues to build steam, as CMA-nominated Country artist Miranda Lambert paid a visit to The Ty Bentli Show on Tuesday morning, November 5th, Lambert contributed her own personal “Thank You” to the cause, and then went on to tell Ty and the team about the important role that early fans in the military played in the story of her career.

Next up: The Ty Bentli Show will celebrate this year’s superstar partnership with Dierks Bentley with a party on Friday morning, November 8th, as the show broadcasts live from Dierks Bentley’s Whiskey Row in Nashville!
